How long does the free trial last?
Since announcing a free trial campaign that has no specified end date, we got slammed with questions. Why? What’s up with that? Are you going to hit us with ridiculous fees later? Destroy our data… and so forth. All these questions are very legitimate, so I’m taking time to answer them here.
The reason we are offering our short sale processing platform for free is because we want more people to be able to use it. As of today, most of you are familiar with RealtyProx through National Closing Center (NCC), a short sale processing company that utilizes a customized version of the platform. However, we wanted to make the application available to other short sale processing companies, attorney offices and escrow/title companies.
In order to do so, we still have some testing and debugging to complete… hence the free trial. Because we can only estimate how long debugging and final testing can take, we decided to offer the platform at no cost for everybody until we are ready to launch. We know that it will take at least a month, possibly two.
As we have clearly spelled out in our welcome email to all new users, we are going to give you a two week notice before the launch date. When we launch the paid version, you will have an option to become a paid user or download all your data, shake virtual hands with us and part our ways. Your data WILL NOT be kept hostage!
As for the fees, we promise to offer competitive pricing and, possibly, discounts for early adopters.
Hope this answers most of your questions and will give you an extra encouragement to get on board and start using RealtyProx as your primary short sale processing platform!
